Looking to use your ATT Blackjack II for Internet Sharing? I've never been so frustrated in all my life. Here's finally how, after 5 hours of tech support, and 2 stops to the ATT store, I finally got my ATT Blackjack 2 to tether to my laptop. It took about 1 minute...

Good Luck! If this saved your from the total horrible frustration I suffered, then drop a line!

DIRECTIONS

1. On your Blackjack II phone, make sure under settings>connections>usb> you change this to Modem (it is usually defaulted to ‘active sync’).
2. Connect your phone to your computer with your USB cord.
3. On you computer, go to Network Connections.
4. And under ‘Dial Up’ , right click click on properties. Change the dial up modem that is checked, so that ‘Samsung Mobile Modem’ is checked.
5. Next, change the Phone number to: *99# (instead of ppp in this case)
6. Hit OK, and then just double click on 3 G Connection to connect!

Now you should be able to ACTUALLY tether your ATT BlackJack II phone. Make sure you have purchased a tether data plan from ATT!
